Salary Cap is the Major Problem for the Flyers Right Now
Talks have gone slow with goalie Ilya Bryzgalov. Still no contract agreement with goalie Ilya Bryzgalov and forward Ville Leino, due to lack of salary cap room. It might be time for Jeff Carter and Mike Richards to waive their no trade clause since they are just a waste of space on the roster. They were brought here to lead our team instead they spend most of their time getting drunk. Doesn’t sound like their doing their jobs to me! How can Richards be the Flyers team captain when he can’t even lead himself to do the right thing, which would be to save the partying till the off-season and dedicate himself to the team.

Signing Ilya Bryzgalov would be a good start to improving the teams overall defense which gets exposed every year in the playoffs no matter what the defense core has been. Year after year the Flyers get beat by better goaltending due to the lack of talent they have between the pipes. Goalies just CANT let up weak goals. They have to be your best player every night in order to win consistently and more importantly, to win a Stanley Cup!
